If the buyer has an agent
The buyer’s agent usually prepares the purchase contract. You can have your own attorney review it before you sign.

Escrow holds the money and documents and prepares escrow instructions, the deed and closing statements. Escrow does not negotiate or give legal advice, and usually does not write the purchase contract.
